The Lena Archuleta School’s outstanding fall play, These Shining Lives, did not go unnoticed by the academy! LA recently received five nominations from the MontclairState Theatre Night Awards for this deeply moving production.
Two of the nominations went to individual students:
Jack Silver ’23 – Outstanding Performance by an Actor in a Period Dramatic Play
Carter Huang ’22 – Outstanding Achievement in Student Stage Management
Director Becky Randazzo earned nominations for Outstanding Achievement in New Media/Special Effects and Outstanding Achievement in Dramaturgy. These Shining Lives also was nominated for Outstanding Production of a Period Dramatic Play.
The awards night will be virtual again this year and held in late May.
