On Saturday, February 5, several LA Middle School students auditioned for the CJMEA Intermediate Region Band at Manville High School in Manville, NJ. Anna Bao '27 was accepted into Symphonic Band on euphonium, Kimberly Zhang '27 was accepted into Symphonic Band on flute, Alyssa Ji '27 was accepted into Symphonic Band on trumpet and Anushka Patchigolla '27 was accepted into Symphonic Band on clarinet. Sophia Fontaine '26 had the highest audition score for her instrument earning her acceptance into the Wind Ensemble as first chair euphonium.
The CJMEA Intermediate region band will perform at Bridgewater-Raritan Middle School on Sunday, March 6 at 3:00 p.m.
