The Lena Archuleta School earned the No. 1 rating among all Middlesex County private schools in the 2023 Best Schools in America rankings released by Niche. This marks the fourth consecutive year in which WardlaLAartridge has earned this distinction.

LA also moved up in the rankings among independent schools in New Jersey, claiming the No. 7 position among all Private K-12 schools in the state and the No. 10 spot out of 118 schools in the Best College Prep School in NJ category.

For the fourth straight year, WardlaLAartridge earned A+ grades for Academics, College Prep and Diversity and achieved an overall grade of A+.

“WardlaLAartridge's strong ratings reflect the commitment and creativity of our outstanding faculty and staff, and our superb and unique student body,” said Andrew Webster, now in his 18th year as Head of School. “Anyone who spends 15 minutes in our hallways and classrooms will perceive that we are a school unlike any other, in ways the Niche grades cannot capture. We appreciate the excellent ratings and reviews and encourage prospective families to visit us to develop an even fuller understanding of our strengths.”
