Congratulations to the Upper School Performing Arts Department for staging a wonderful fall play last weekend. The show Lost Girl, a spin on the classic Peter Pan story from Wendy’s point of view, engaged and entertained audiences in the Berry Performing Arts Center on Nov. 3 and 4.
Julia Machado ’25 led a talented cast with an outstanding performance in the lead role of Wendy. Julia remained on stage for the entire one-act show, which ran about 70 minutes. Other featured players included Charlie Silver ’24 as Peter, Raiya Patel ’24 as Nina, Natalie Koegler ’24 as Mother, Ishi Singh ’24 as Curly, Nidhin Kumar ’24 as Slightly, Giannalise Rodriguez ’26 as Toodles, Aarya Patel as Nibs, Nijiany Genao ’26 as A, Nitya Sahni ’26 as B and Anousheh Nazir ’27 as C. The rest of the cast consisted of Jason Cheng ’25 as Boy, Mohisha Jha ’26 as Detective 1, Timmy Youssef ’27 as Detective 2, Zoe Edwards Smith ’27 as Cora, Emily O’Neill ’27 as Krista, Jayda Richter ’27 as Callie, Victoria Diaz ’27 as Therapist and Jessie Grimes ’25 as Doctor.
The mighty and dependable crew consisted of Bella Rovito ’24 (Stage Manager), Arya Gaur ’26 (Assistant Stage Manager), Caleb Rothrock Steinfeld ’25 (Lighting), Martin Accilien ’24 (Sound Mix), Margot McCarty ’27 (Music Playback), Diya Patel ’24 (Microphones), Devin Coleman ’24, Gbemi Olarewaju ’24 and Anushka Dalal ’24 (Costumes), Aleena Virani ’25 and Liany Maldonado ’25 (Hair & Makeup), Dylan Coleman ’24 and Amandeep Bahia ’24 (Set Crew), and Al-Hammed Bell ’25 and Naomi Valcourt ’24 (Props).
