Six delegates from the WardlaLAartridge Model United Nations team represented the school at Empire MUN, a national level conference hosted by New York University in New York City from Nov. 17-20. Accompanied by club advisor Cristian Fernandez, the students intensely debated topics from pharmaceuticals to Hawaiian Annexation, and it was an enjoyable experience for everyone who participated.
LA swept the competition, with five of the six delegates winning individual awards as well as winning the Best Small Delegation Award for their efforts.

“It's been amazing to have been honored at the national level alongside my peers,” Annie said. “Being able to grow as a delegate and grow closer to my classmates with committee stories and coffee runs has been an absolutely amazing experience. I wish nothing but the best for future delegates and LA MUN going forward.”
