Mike Romeo, Athletic Director, announced the Middle School Athletes of the Week at the division meeting. Congratulations to cheerleader Jayda Richter ’27 and basketball player Evan Moreira ’28.
Jayda has steadily improved her skills as a cheerleader since the season began. She works hard to learn new skills and is very helpful to her teammates if they need help. Last week, Jayda really showed her team what she is made of. During a game warm-up, she was struggling to hit one of her stunts. When it was time to perform game time, Jayda did not miss a beat and executed her skills perfectly. Her resilience was impressive!
Evan is a committed athlete who maximizes his abilities through effort and focus during practice. He's always ready to play, he communicates with his teammates well and his love of basketball is palpable. Evan is the definition of a glue guy. He holds the team together by doing the little things perfectly.
