Members of the Upper School’s Hispanic Latinx Alliance (HLA) shared a presentation with Middle School students highlighting Hispanic cuisine during last week’s divisional meeting in the Berry Performing Arts Center. HLA leaders Briana Di Landro ’23, Nate Bravo ’23 and Sarah Alves ’24 were joined by group members Emma Herko ’25 and Gianna Rodriguez ’26 to discuss Hispanic Cuisine and Gastronomy.
All five HLA members shared details about cuisine from their heritage in different parts of Latin America: Gianna (Dominican Republic), Sarah (Brazil), Briana (Uruguay), and Emma and Nate (Mexico). They also distributed recipes to the Middle School students that included in the HLA Cookbook.
