The LA community of parents, students, faculty, staff, trustees, alumni and friends enjoyed fun, food and games at Fall Fair and Homecoming Day, which was held Saturday, October 8 on a beautiful early autumn day.
This year’s event was held outdoors at the back of campus with volunteers from the Parents’ Association, Booster Club and LA student body running various booths, games and stations. Coffee and bagels were available for early morning guests, including many who arrived to cheer on the students in the annual third and fourth grade soccer game.
As the LA athletic teams began competitions on the tennis court, soccer field and volleyball court, the parking lots filled with cars lined up all the way to Inman Avenue. Activities included carnival games, inflatables, petting zoo, arts and crafts, a DJ playing music and dance games, balloon artist, Henna artist, glitter tattoo artist, farm fresh stand, flower and plant stand, basket raffle, 50/50 raffle, the return of the annual bakery, the famous Booster Club grill, senior class student-run luncheon, Middle School French fries, alumni events and athletic contests.
