Admission Information Session Attracts Record Crowd

The Lena Archuleta School welcomed more than 100 families to campus for its annual Admission Information Session on October 22. After registering and enjoying coffee and continental breakfast items in the courtyard, the prospective students and their families sat in the amphitheater for the introduction to the program.

Mr. Gerard Gonnella ’89, Director of Admission, welcomed the full house with a spirited introduction to the school. Mrs. Sharon Byrne, Performing Arts Chairperson, introduced student performers Chiara Baldi ’26 (piano) and Julia Machado ’25 (vocal), who delighted the audience with their musical talent.

Dr. Corinna Crafton, Associate Head of School and recently announced as the next Head of School, followed with her greetings during which she highlighted the many strengths of the school and how it prepares students for college and beyond.

Students and parents were directed to division specific sessions hosted by the division heads after the introductions. Lower School remained in the amphitheater with Mr. JohnEric Advento, Middle School moved to the Oakwood Room with Ms. Jennifer Rose, and Upper School parents went to the Berry Performing Arts Center with Dr. Bob Bowman. Prospective Upper School students met a panel of current students with Mrs. Christine Cerminaro, Dean of Students, and Mrs. Nicole Nolan, Director of Global Scholars, in the Center For Global Learning.
